The opening of the Grand Library, of which establishment has been completed on the Near East Yeniboğazici Campus that started education in September 2020, will be held on March 19. The Great Library, which will contribute to the education of students studying on the campus, will also provide services to the people of the region, especially Famagusta and Iskele, free of charge. The Grand Library will provide access to 300,000 books and 650 million electronic resources.

Near East Yeniboğaziçi Grand Library will offer comfortable use to its users with its 200-person sitting and study area, individual and group study rooms, electronic resources research hall, periodicals reading unit and archive room.


Access to 300 thousand printed books and 650 million digital resources
Near East Yeniboğaziçi Grand Library will provide access to a huge information network by offering digital connectivity together with the Near East University Grand Library, the largest library in the TRNC, and the Kyrenia University Grand Library, which was opened in December. Thus, the Yeniboğaziçi Grand Library, which will house 300 thousand books and different types of written and printed resources, will also make 650 million digital resources available to the people of the region.
