Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College Science Department is fundamentally a multidisciplinary department offering a science course for middle school students and Biology, Physics and Chemistry courses for high school students.

Our aim is to equip our students with comprehensive knowledge and skills and raise them as well-rounded individuals who are respectful to ethical values, capable of understanding the universe in which we live and its laws, to question themselves, to apply scientific methods accurately, to evaluate and improve the methods applied, to follow the developments in the world and design the future with what they have learned. Our main goal is to raise individuals who are able to interpret life and establish connections between the events and understand what's happening around them with a scientific perspective, and enable them to become aware that science is with us in all areas of life.

A well-established science education tailored to address the needs of the current era is required to keep up with or go beyond and contribute to the technology that is changing with a dazzling speed. Emphasizing the crucial role of science and scientific research in producing science, we promote research and technology oriented scientific studies to enable our students to become aware of the necessity to be a producer of technology rather than just a consumer.

Having been approved by Cambridge International exam center, six fully equipped laboratories for projects and science experiences are available within the body of Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College. From the 6th to the 12th grade, our students actively use science laboratories and can conduct experiments on course subjects. Our students' science projects are always supported by our expert teaching staff.

Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College's Science courses are implemented in English in secondary school and GCE classes. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses in GCE classes, the MoNE approved Pearson Edexcel curricula are followed.
