Consisting of geography, economy, business administration, psychology, sociology, history and English literature, our arts curriculum aims to prepare our students for IGCSE and A Level exams under the guidance of our experienced and competent branch teachers.
The fact that people and societies are in constant change brings them face to face with complex problems. In this context, Social Sciences have a crucial role in ensuring the balance between the needs of the individuals living in the society and the expectations of the society. To this end the primary aim of the Social Sciences program is to equip the individuals with the knowledge and skills required to address these requirements. The fact that Social Sciences examines change and continuity has enabled the department to gain an effective place in contemporary education, which aims to socialize the individual.
As the Department of Social Sciences, our mission is to raise our students as individuals who are self-confident, respectful to universal values and their national culture, and sensitive to the events around them. In this context, we aim to raise our students as critical thinking, problem solving, inquisitive and creative individuals who are well equipped with the comprehensive knowledge, skills and values required to solve and overcome the challenges and problems that they will encounter throughout their lives.
One of the main objectives of our department is to prepare our students for the internationally recognized IGCSE and A Level exams, and to guide them in terms of the academic career options that they will consciously and willingly choose. In the courses implemented under the body of our department, the aims to raise qualified people needed in the fields of social sciences and literature.
While examining the human and social aspects of life during education, it is of great importance for us that our students complete their high school education process in the most efficient way with qualitative, quantitative and scientific methods. Furthermore, it is of great of importance for us that our students embody and put into practice the knowledge they have acquired through the courses and other activities such as excursion-observation, exploring, and different projects in all fields concerning social sciences.
